FIDE Master, two standards of International Master, ELO 2405, winner of the tournaments Alba-Iulia 1998, Cluj Championship 2000, Debrecen( Hungary) 2003, Arad 2004.

National vicechampion 1993 (category 16-20 years old), participation in the World Championship Bratislava (under 18), place 24, (6p/11). He won against the Grand Masters Rogozenko Dorian and Dusan Rajkovic. He has 10 years experience in coaching.

He is an Honour Member of SITAS Academy and will coach advanced students for participating in competitions.
